ZARA JEAN – Tilting During Height Adjustment

Created by Kristin Huata, Modified on Fri, 18 Jul at 4:27 PM by Kristin Huata

Occasionally, our Zara Jean beds may seize during height adjustment.

This issue is typically easy to resolve by following the steps below:

1. Raise the Head Rest Actuator to its highest position to allow clear access to the control box:

2. Unplug CH1 and insert it into the CH4 slot as seen below.

Using the handset, lower the Head Rest section—this will flatten the upper half of the bed.

Once complete, return CH1 to its original slot.

3. Repeat the process with CH2, as seen below: insert it into the CH4 slot and use the handset to lower the Foot Rest section, flattening the lower half of the bed. Once done, return CH2 to its original slot.

4. Once both sections are fully lowered and flat, return CH2 and CH4 to their original positions.

5. On the handset, press and hold both the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ buttons simultaneously for 15 seconds.

This will reset the control box (please see below image reference).

If the issue persists after completing these steps, please don’t hesitate to contact us — we’ll be happy to arrange a technician visit for further assistance:
